We strive to respond within 24 hours with a decision on what’s covered and a repair approval.

How does AmberCare work?
In the event your vehicle has a covered breakdown or malfunction, you can take your EV to any Tesla Service Center or Authorized Repair Facility, and Amber will reimburse the service provider or you directly for covered costs, less your deductible.
Just like other popular subscription services, after you sign up for AmberCare, your agreement auto-renews each month until you choose to cancel with us.

How does AmberCare compare with the Tesla ESA?
The Tesla ESA allows the original owner of a Tesla vehicle to extend the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty for an additional 2 years or 25,000 miles. The Tesla ESA can only be purchased while the vehicle is still under 4-year or 50,000 miles, and does not offer monthly payment options.
AmberCare service agreements can be purchased for any Tesla Model S, Model X, Model 3 or Model Y vehicle with under 200,000 miles, with flexible payment options to fit your needs.
